Founder and President

Christie has been helping women in Ukraine since 2017 when she founded Ukraine Unlimited. She graduated from Utah State University in Elementary Education. She’s been married to Jeff Arnell for 31 years and has three adult kids and one grandson. Her son-in-law is Ukrainian. I have been volunteering and serving, wherever I can, most of my life. My deep love for the Ukrainian people and their culture is my motivation for helping Ukraine and alleviating their suffering during this war and beyond. Christie loves to explore new cultures and to travel.

Zhenia Kolomiyets

Program Director, Ukraine

Born and raised in Khmelnytsky, Ukraine, Zhenia  graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine with a BD in Economic Cybernetics and is working on his MD. His other area of expertise is in blockchain development. He and his family have brought relief to refugees and frontline workers in Kyiv, Mariupol, Bucha, Kharkiv, Severodonetsk, Kyrvy Rig and other places. Zhenia does his best to support his dad who is in the Ukraine Armed Forces.

Director, Ukraine Operations

Born and raised in Khmelnytsky, Ukraine, Lessia has degrees in Foreign Languages and Finanical Management.  She has expertise in contracts/finance adminstration and tranlsation/interpretation. She has worked intenrationally, but her permanent residence is Khmelnytsky. Together with her husband Yaroslav they have two children in university. Lessia is passionate about saving her country and preserving freedom for all Ukrainians.

Dima Kolomiyets

Communications Director, Ukraine

Born and raised in Khmelnytsky, Ukraine, Dima is in his third year of studies at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine in Economics. His other speciality is software development.  Together with his family, he supports military servicemen in hot spots. His dad is with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He has helped refugees out of Mariupol and other cities, and he is passionate about bringing relief to those suffering from the effects of war.

Jeff graduated from Ricks College and Utah State University in business and has over 20 years in construction management experience. He’s been married to Christie for over 30 years! They have three grown up kids and one beautiful grandson. He enjoys traveling, golfing and fishing (if they are biting!) in the little bit of spare time he has. Jeff and Christie’s daughter went to Ukraine in 2015 on a service mission and he is committed to supporting the efforts to helping Ukraine in any way.

John Liu is a technology business executive with over 25 years’ experience building and supporting startups with highly complex product and service offerings. John is a husband, father, and avid volunteer with a passion for helping those in need. He loves being able to build bridges. He is passionate about helping the people of Ukraine and alleviating suffering.

Vadym Lavreniuk

Vadym Lavreniuk

Program Director, Ukraine

Vadym has been involved in the creation process of this project from the very beginning and was inspired by the idea of cultural exchange between the United States and Ukraine. He is a Ukrainian who aspires to share knowledge and the history of his country to help build a solid reputation and attract people from all around the world.
He has a BS in Management and has been working for American tech companies for several years, as well as English translating and tutoring on the side. He enjoys reading, spending time with friends.

Misty Liu

Creative Director

 Blogger, author and former Thespian, current Director of Communications and Outreach for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Orlando Area with 20+ years experience in creative marketing, Misty also heads up JustServe in Orlando as well as helping nonprofits with marketing and development. Misty fully believes that the best way to develop unity in community is through service. Misty’s family history goes back to Lviv, and her son recently returned from a service mission in Ukraine.
